Bank Payments, Made Familiar

Clerq Identity

Clerq allows high-ticket merchants to accept large payments directly from their customers’ bank accounts, without heavy card fees. Operating in this high-value space, they needed an identity that projects institutional security while feeling as effortless as a modern digital checkout.

To make these complex transfers feel familiar, I developed a visual system centered on a single logomark. By merging a universal shopping bag with a digital scanning grid, the identity turns an intimidating banking process into an intuitive “scan and buy” action.

Finding the right symbol requires exploration. I tested structural variations to find the most natural balance between the bag silhouette and the scanning grid. The goal was pure simplicity, reducing the visual elements until only the core concept remained.
